Dr.Yu Wang, Chairman
Dr. Wang has over 15 years of experience working in the lithium ion battery industry. He has held a number of key development and management positions at two of the major Li-ion battery manufacturers in North America, NEC Moli Energy and PolyStor Corporation where he was Director of R&D and Chief Cell Designer. Dr. Wang brings extensive expertise and experience in the large-scale production, commercialization and marketing and sales of successful Li-ion battery products.

 

Dr. Keith D. Kepler, Secretary
Dr. Kepler has worked in the research and development of lithium ion battery materials and systems for the past 15 years. Prior to Farasis, Dr. Kepler was on the staff of the Battery Development Group at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) before joining Polystor Corporation to become the Director of Advanced R&D. He has worked as a consultant to the US Advanced Battery Consortium (USABC) and the Department of Energy (DOE) on electric vehicle related battery issues.
Mr. Xinming Wu
Mr. Wu has extensive experience at Chinese Investment Bank and Venture Capital companies, specializing in renewable energy and new media areas. At New Growth he has been very successful with early investments in a number of companies including: China BAK Battery, Inc. (CBAK: NASDAQ), Suntech Power (STP: NYSE), Bus-Online, KFC Media, Zhong Yuan Chemical Co., Ltd., and GZ Ban Jie Environmental Engineering Company. Mr. Wu earned his MBA degree from Hangzhou Dianzi University.

 

Mr. Bob Lin
Bob Lin is the founder of Multi-Dimensional Venture Partners, an angel venture group from Silicon Valley and Chairman of Healhtlink Services, a nation-wide medical assistance company in China. He also co-founded and served as General Partner for Acorn Campus and Acorn Angels since late 90’s. Bob has more than 25 years of angels and venture investment expertise with multiple IPOs. He also serves as a partner in PHYCOS Consulting, a very prestigious consulting firm for high level businesses, entrepreneurs, and government. He also has long history of entrepreneurial start-up and international business, marketing, and management experiences. He was well known for launching investment for Avanti (IPO ’95 25x), AltiGen (IPO ‘97) and LightLogic (Sold to Intel for $400M ’01 for 100x). He was an early investor in Vertex Network (Sold to Mitel for $200M ’99, 20x), and MPS (IPO ’04 70x). He was also the co-founder of Pine Photonics (sold to Opnext '03; IPO '07) and Luxnet (IPO '10). His other portfolios include Light Logic (Sold to Intel for $400M '02), MPS (IPO '07), Monday Tech (Sold to Yahoo '08), Fortinet (IPO '09), Winning Soft (IPO '11), and many more.
