Lithium Ion Cells
Farasis has successfully commercialized its patent pending, stabilized, high performance
MnR - cathode technology in a range of Li-ion cell products in both cylindrical and prismatic form factors. We have developed Li-ion chemistries around our first generation technology that offer customers world leading performance in cells that operate over a very wide temperature range (Figure 1), and our high manganese content cells are some of the safest, most robust cells in the industry. Our current products are ideal for use in many applications in the consumer electronics, transportation and stationary energy storage markets, ranging in capacity from 1 Ah to 30 Ah.
Lithium Ion Battery Modules and Systems
Farasis now offers Li-ion packs and systems designed around our unique, universal, xPS modular packaging technology. Challenged to provide our customers with the greatest performance, reliability and value, our battery system engineers created a rugged, core module technology around our large prismatic cell form factor that can be easily scaled for kWh to MWh size systems (Figure 2). Designed to withstand years of vibration and thermal extremes with long cycle life, our modules and systems are ideal for customers developing applications that will be operating in the field for many years who want to minimize their investment in product maintenance. We also offer battery systems with centralized or master-slave battery management system configurations including SOC and SOH monitoring and charge, safety and thermal management functions. Advanced Manufacturing and Quality Control
A critical aspect to the commercial success of our technology and Li-ion products is our focus on manufacturing quality. Unlike most other Li-ion battery companies based in the U.S., Farasis produces its products at its own high volume manufacturing facility, located in China. We designed, built and currently operate one of the most advanced Li-ion battery and system manufacturing facilities in the industry. (Figure 3). Our experienced production team has created an efficient, world class manufacturing culture utilizing the most advanced automated manufacturing equipment and process control methods. We are ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified and are currently working to achieve TS-16949 certification. We welcome and are happy to arrange visits to our manufacturing facility for potential customers.
