Li-Ion Core Cell Technology
Farasis Energy’s core Li-ion battery technology is based on its manganese rich
(MnR) cathode systems that offer superior energy and power density combined with excellent cycle life and safety. This is achieved through proprietary chemistry and processes developed at Farasis and scaled to commercial volumes at our manufacturing facility. Our
MnR Li-ion battery technology is an ideal solution for large format, high energy and power Li-ion cells targeting the emerging transportation, grid power and commercial applications. Farasis Energy's Gen 1
MnR products offer almost 40% higher energy density to comparable LiFePO4 based systems, with similar cycle life and excellent safety. Farasis Energy's Gen 2
MnR technology, which is currently under development, will offer its customers as much as 100% greater energy density in the same large cell format.
Li-Ion Battery System Technology
Farasis Energy’s battery system technology has been developed around its core cell technology. We have leveraged the performance advantages of our cells to create a set of module designs that serve as the building blocks for much larger battery and energy storage systems. Our innovative stack and lock approach gives great flexibility for quickly assembling battery systems with different configurations. Farasis
xPS module series can be optimized for various drive cycle requirements taking into consideration thermal demand and life projections. Farasis centralized and master slave Battery Management System (BMS) configurations with control software are designed and optimized to fully maximize the performance of our Li-ion cells.
